What's in the bag....for now!

I'm a terrible tinkerer when it comes to golf clubs. I'm always looking for the next thing that will help me improve my game. I'm a big fan of ebay, golfbidder or any other source of second hand clubs so I can exercise my habit without breaking the bank. As a result, my bag is constantly changing. But one thing that has remained consistent over the years is my love for Mizuno clubs (although they may be on the chopping block too!)  The cliche of nothing feels like a Mizuno is definitely true for me, I love the way they feel...but is there something better suited to me....tinker tinker! I am worried about losing that feeling though.  Here's a look at what's currently in my bag: * Driver: Cobra LTDx LS (9 degrees +1D)    Project X HZRDUS Smoke 6.0/Tensei white       stiff (I swap between the two)  * 3 Wood: Taylormade Sim 2 Titanium      (15 degrees) Tensei blue stiff  * 2/3iron: Wilson Staff Utility (18 degrees)   ...

Getting you up to speed

I've been playing golf since I was a child, but only with any purpose for about 10 years. I got my first official handicap during lock-down, which was a few years ago now and it's been moving in the wrong direction ever since! I've broken 80 once, had one hole in one (that nobody else witnessed) and my handicap has plateaued in the mid-teens. But I'm determined to improve my game, and I'm starting by getting you up to speed with where I'm at right now. Here are some of my current stats: * Handicap: 15.7 * Best ever handicap: 12ish * Best round: 78 As you can see, I'm still a long way from a single digit golfer which is where I want to be. But I'm confident that I can improve with hard work and dedication. I'm a huge fan of stats and I use Arccos in all my clubs (except putter).
